Note that if you set a pre-roll, it will only apply for the first pass. The next step is to make a selection in the section where you want the recording to occur as shown in the picture below. By default, this feature is turned on but if it is off on your session, the button to toggle it can be found on the tool bar. This way making a selection on the timeline also makes a selection in the edit window. It may be beneficial to link Timeline and Edit selections to make this part easier. With loop recording now active, a selection needs to be made to indicate the section where you want the loop recording to take place.
